About him:

‎Dr. Abdul Rahman H. Al-Sumait, an Islamic scholar and one of this society's role models, was born in Kuwait and completed studies in Iraq and UK. His contributions in Africa have helped over one million children including orphans, destitute and starving children, and students.

After finishing his studies, instead of returning back to Kuwait where work doors were opened, he went to Africa and left the fortune and the comfort life behind.

His projects:

Direct Aid is a charity organization Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Sumait established in 1981 in Kuwait. It has a vast network helping impoverished people suffering from economic and social crisis. He established the Africa Muslims Agency, for which he has been serving as the Secretary General since 1987.

Dr. Al Sumait has given his time, skills and efforts to assist those in need.  Actually, he had sacrifices his life for the benefit of others. Moreover, he has executed numerous projects that helped impoverished people of to ease their life from poverty. May Allah reward him immensely, grant him more life, and enrich him to continue his work.

He's now 64 years old and has been in the black continent "Africa" for 25 years.
